The Point-in-Time Count is when the U.S. takes a census of our homeless community. An accurate and complete 'PIT' count is imperative for our community to move towards more extensive resources.
This year, we are holding it on Thursday, January 26th. We need volunteers for our 3 shifts (7:30 am-10:30 am, 11 am-2 pm, and 5 pm-8 pm). There will be two trainings on how to conduct a P.I.T. Count, but if you cannot make one, please email Sidney Timmer at [email protected] The first training is Thursday, January 19th at 1:30 pm and the second is Friday, January 20th at 9 am. Both trainings will happen in our new office at 133 W Concho Ave Suite 301
This month's Hygiene Closet Day is canceled while we work on moving offices to our new location and replenishing our stock. We do not have plans to have a later January Hygiene Day.
